Three to seven day Roving
Pack Trips
-
Our extended guided horseback trips are
designed so guests can really experience the White Clouds.
-
These trips move camp every other day with
layover days allowing time to relax, fish or day-hike.
-
You'll be able to photograph the wildlife,
identify the alpine flora and relax next to a high mountain
lake while spectacular scenery surrounds you.
-
Meals are prepared fresh, horses are gentle,
guides are friendly and knowledgeable and all equipment is
provided except for personal gear and sleeping bags.

Dates are scheduled on a first serve basis
from July through September. Exact destinations and travel
route will vary depending upon length of trip

Multi-Day Base Camp Adventure
-
This trip can be designed for a variable
length of stay anywhere from two to six days in length.
-
This trip offers greater "creature
comforts" with a reserved campsite consisting of 14x16
canvas wall tents, wood heat stoves, bunks/cots with foams,
Bar-B-Q area, and horse handling facility.
-
This special camp location is found within the
shadows of the "Heart of Idaho", Castle Peak.
-
All meals are included and served family style
from separate kitchen tent.
-
All you need to bring is your personal gear
(list provided) and sleeping bag.
-
After a three hour leisurely ride to camp
guests may choose a different activity or daily destination.
Choices range from riding, photography, high mountain lake
fishing, exploring Idaho's geology, viewing diverse wildlife
or just plain relaxing

Backcountry Over-night

This trip gives even the weekend adventurer an
opportunity to experience Idaho's famous White Cloud
Mountains.
-
All camping needs are provided including dome
tents, thermarest pads & portable kitchen.

You need only provide your personal sleeping
bag and overnight necessities.
-
Our seasoned mountain horses provide all
horseback transportation.
-
There should be ample time to explore with
your camera or fishing rod while your guides make camp for the
evening.
-
You will enjoy western Bar-B-Q dinner served
family style. ·You can plan on viewing spectacular landscapes
and diverse wildlife en route to and from your overnight
campsite.

Wild Horse Viewing or White
Cloud day Ride
-
This historic day-ride opportunity will take
you back to a time when the west was still unsettled and when
wild horses still roamed free. Today, a free-ranging herd of
about 300 animals, makes it’s home in the low rolling hills
outside Challis.
-
This herd is managed by the Bureau of Land
Management and offers an excellent viewing opportunity from
horseback.
-
Departure points vary and scheduling is
flexible. Lunch is included and advance reservations are
necessary.

Full-Day Ride in Challis
Valley
- For those of us with less time to spend in the Idaho
Backcountry, we offer a full day ride out of The Challis
Valley.
- Specific routes vary and may be chosen depending upon
photographic, historic, or wildlife interests.
- Departure time from our ranch is 10:00a.m. with arrival
back at 4:00p.m.
- A hearty lunch and beverages are provided.
- Children are welcome with a minimum age of 8 years.
