Idaho Rifle Mule Deer Hunts

These high elevation hunts offer great opportunity to glass for elusive bachelor bucks during mid-late October. High Alpine basins and open sage habitat provide for excellent transition range as these older class bucks move to their fall rutting grounds.

• These 7-day rifle (only) hunts also take place from comfortable spike camps consisting of 14x16 and 16x20 heated wall tents. Sleep tents come complete with bunks or cots with foam pads for a comfortable nights sleep.

• All meals are provided and served family style.

• Weather conditions dictate which one of five spike camps we choose for your hunt. Riding time to camps varies from 45 minutes to 3.5 hours.

• Be prepared to hunt in elevations ranging from 7,000 feet to 10,000 feet.

• Hunting is done by horseback and by foot once the buck of your choice is identified.

• We primarily hunt the last seven days of the general season and only offer a guided hunting opportunity.
